K-ESS3-3
Students will be able to discuss how humans can reduce their impact on Earth’s systems.
With a partner, students will discuss how humans get paper products, paper, and vegetables. They will be introduced to Earth's different systems: the atmosphere, biosphere, geosphere, and hydrosphere. Focus question: "How can we reduce our impact on Earth's systems?"
Students will review what humans need to survive. They will then see what humans obtain from and harm each of Earth's systems (biosphere, atmosphere, hydrosphere, and geosphere). They will discuss what they can do to reduce, reuse, and recycle.
Review ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle with 4 multiple-choice questions, 2 true/false questions, and a drag-to-sort question.
Students will discuss ways they can help planet Earth.
