Students will be able to recognize and print the letter Vv, as well as determine if a word has a Vv sound.
Students will drag Uu's to attach petals to a flower to reveal their guide for the letter Vv, Vera the Vampire Bat. They will review how to write the letter Vv.
Vera the Vampire Bat will have her friend, Max, demonstrate how to write the letter Vv. Students will then practice writing uppercase and lowercase Vv on the board and on their own paper. Two students can race to complete a puzzle that makes the letter Vv.
Students will then practice and pronounce Vv sounds. They will get to name as many words that start with the Vv as they can think of! They’ll also get to use their letter Vv knowledge to complete a fun activity that will help Vera the Vampire Bat find her vampire bat friends in the night.
Review the letter Vv with 10 questions on identifying and writing the letter Vv.
Students will review how to write the letter Vv and then decorate the letter Vv.
