Introduction
Since we rely on coal and gas to provide us with electricity, it is important that we are mindful of our electricity usage. Gas and coal are important natural resources that we can’t replenish!
Instruction
We rarely think about how much electricity we use. By being mindful of our energy usage, we can take practical steps to reduce our energy footprint. This helps the environment and animals, and it also saves money, because electricity isn’t free. Instead, it’s a public utility we should have respect for. We can all take simple steps to use less electricity. One of the hidden ways we can save electricity is by unplugging appliances that use electricity even when we aren’t using them.
