CCSS.ELA-Literacy.L.3.2a
Students will be able to capitalize appropriate words in titles.
Students will review when they should capitalize letters, such as when writing people's names, holidays, and names of buildings. They will also review where they can find titles (e.g., television shows, books, magazines). Explain why proper nouns need to be capitalized.
Students will decide which book titles are written correctly. They will also sort several book titles by their capitalizations. They will also spin the wheel and tell if a title is written correctly.
Students will answer 7 multiple-choice and 3 true/false questions.
Students will recall what they learned and use dry-erase boards to write titles with correct capitalization.
